Tamarindo Poker Tour 2007

The "TPT" was born January 1st 2005 when the first small 8-player event became the first in a series of 24 events
in the first TPT season. The tour brought people and players together regardless of age, sex,
occupation or nationality, and 2007 is looking to be more exciting than ever before.

Every 2 weeks tourists, visitors and local players alike join this fun event at different venues.
The format is an un-limited rebuy tournament the first hour of play,
then freeze-out. Buy-in is 5,000 colones (+ reg fee of 3,000 col.)

At the end of the season the top 10 money finishers meet at the TPT Final Table to find the TPT Champion.

Heads-up event

This classic event will be taking off earlier this year to make sure everybody has plenty of time to schedule their matches.
The registration starts in January and ends March 1st.

Entry fee is 10,000 colones
Prize pool is divided: Winner 60% - Runner-up 20%, Semi Finalists 10% each.

The format is best of 3 matches. Each match gives $100 in chips to each player, levels of 20 minutes each.
Blinds structure: 1/2 - 2/4 - 3/6 - 5/10 - 10/20 - 15/30

The draw will be made at the regular TPT event March 1st.
Players are obliged to arrange their matches at the earliest convenience.
If no other arrangement is made, the players will play on the scheduled date. If there is a no-show by either player,
the match will be forfeited, no appeal. The default dates are:

March 26th - Round of 32
May 28th - Round of 16
July 23rd - Round of 8
September 17th - Semi Finals
November 12th - Final Match.
