Guanacaste Series of Poker 2008
We will again be hosting this prestigious major poker event in the province of Guanacaste.
Dates for GSOP 2008 are August 29th to 31st.
Satellites will begin Fridays in May 2008.

Chip Reese H.O.R.S.E. Championship
In memory of one of the greatest all-round poker players who ever lived the players of Tamarindo joined in this new and challenging event of different classic poker disciplines.
The format was a freeze-out $100 buy-in tournament consisting of the following games:
H limit Texas Hold'em
O Omaha high-low
R Razz (7-card stud low)
S Seven-card Stud
E Eight-or-better (7-card Stud high-low)
"Big Blind Ben" Ziegler was the worthy winner of this highly prestigious title after a 5 hour long battle and a heads-up fight with Steve Duff.

Guanacaste's most succesful players in 2008 will again fight for the ultimate prestige: To become the Champion of Champions!
The exclusive list of invited players includes winners of TPT events, the winner of the WSOP Challenge, the Best Player of the Pura Vida Poker, the winner of the Chip Reese H.O.R.S.E. Championship and the winners of the GSOP 2007 events. The TD will give one wild card to a player of his own choice.
The date for the TOC 2008 is Wednesday December 10th
Buy-in $100.
