WSOP Challenge 2007

For the second year the players in Guanacaste took a stab at a trip to Las Vegas and the WSOP Main Event.

From January to April, 24 satellites and qualifiers led to a 10-player Final Table from where the winner would receive a package with travel cash and the $10,000 entry fee. The winner was no other than the Tournament Director himself
Henrik "Diamond King" Bodholdt

See the photos from the Final Table and read a full report on the action here.

Winner 2006: Linda Verberne

Pura Vida Poker Team Championships 2007

3 Kings Poker Events is repeating last year's success with this social yet competitive event.

3 or 4 players form a team to compete against other teams through seven days of Texas NL Hold'em. The format is single table freeze-outs with players from different teams, competing for points, and ultimately for cash and sponsor prizes.

In order to keep the competition open and exciting until the very last day, the Pura Vida points at stake increase in the last rounds of the competition, giving trailing teams a better chance to catch up.
The buy-in per team is $300 to cover all expenses: Professional dealers, TD, trophies, cash prizes etc.

Trophies and prizes go to:
Best Team - the Pura Vida Poker Champions
Best Player
Hardest Hitman (who busts most players)
