freeze-out |
The format allows for unlimited rebuys during first hour of play with an optional add-on at the first break.
Players start off with $2,500 chips and can rebuy whenever they are holding $2,500 or less, thus you can start with a double stack if you rebuy immediately before the first hand is dealt.
One rebuy costs $20 and will give you $2,500 chips.
At the break you are allowed one add-on of $3,500 chips at a cost of $20.
Once the 4th level is initiated the tournament changes to a freeze-out format,

The Heads-up Event
While all other 3KPL events are rebuy tournaments, the heads-up event has a one-time buy-in of $60. Players will be paired by random draw and will be responsible for playing their matches on theor own account and by mutual agreement. However, if the players can not agree on a date, venue and time a default date has been established for each round of play and the players will have to find a winner no later than that date.
The heads-up event offers a double-elimination format which allows one-time losers to come back in the tournament and win it through a loser's bracket from where you can end up in the final against the winner of the main bracket. The complete brackets will be posted here when the field is known and the draw has been made September 1st.
Prizes will be divided as follows:
up to 15 players - 70/30% for Winner and runner-up
16-31 players - 55/25/10/10% for Winner, Runner-up and semi finalists
32 and more players - 40/20/10/10/5/5/5/5%
For every buy-in $5 is set aside for the Final Table Prize Pool. To directly qualify for the Final Table players will have to end up in the Top10 of our MoneyMaker list, comprised of the best money earners of the entire season. The winner of the Final Table can call him - or her - self Champion of the 3 Kings Poker League and will have his - or her - name engraved on the perennial trophy.
Previous winners:
2010 Champion Harry Larson
2010 MoneyMaker Julian Rembert
